Avalon Cares is the charitable fund of Officers of Avalon, Inc. Previously incarnated to collect monies for tsunami relief, it has been resurected on behalf of victims of hurricane Katrina. The dream is to end with a standing fund to continue helping others in genuine need, by networking with various pagan and non-pagan communities. To that end, we have begun organizing Avalon Cares for victims of Hurricane Katrina now, and with the long range vision of a continuing effort for other charitable causes, both incidental and long-term.-- quoted from the Avalon Cares website.
